Supported Independant Living
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of First Nations people living with disability?
We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team — people who care deeply about empowering others to live independently, connect with community, and grow in confidence.

As part of our team, you’ll:
-
Provide respectful and person-centred support, including overnight stays and personal care
-
Encourage and guide participants to build everyday living skills
-
Foster meaningful connections with other providers and professionals
-
Uphold a strong commitment to First Nations values, identity, and ways of living
This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a supportive team that values culture, compassion, and community.

Support Coordination
Our Support Coordinators are at the heart of everything we do. They’re more than professionals — they are team mates, guides, and champions for the people they support.

Every day, they walk alongside participants, helping them navigate their NDIS plans, connect with their community, and build the skills they need to live more independently. They celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small, and take pride in seeing people grow, thrive, and reach their goals.

What makes our team truly special is the genuine care and cultural understanding they bring to their work. They listen with respect, honour First Nations culture and identity, and make sure every plan is delivered in a way that feels meaningful, empowering, and personalised. With a strong focus on First Nations culture and identity, our team ensures that every plan is implemented with respect, understanding, and a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes.

Our Support Coordinators don’t just provide support — they build relationships, foster confidence, and help participants find joy in everyday life.

Indidg Connect Support Coordinators — connecting hearts, culture, and possibilities, one person at a time.
Support Work
At Indidg Connect, our Support Workers play a vital role in helping people live, explore, and thrive. Every day, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting participants to engage in their community, attend family gatherings, manage personal appointments, or access personal care.

You’ll be part of creating meaningful experiences — from sporting activities and creative crafts to beauty and self-care sessions, or connecting with Country through bush activities. Every day is an opportunity to make life more fun, empowering, and rewarding for those you support.

Our team is diverse, skilled, and passionate. Whether you’re a chef, photographer, builder, parent, or bring other unique talents, you’ll have the chance to help participants build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy life to the fullest.
We value independence, safety, and connection, helping participants plan their lives around what matters most to them. First Nations staff support cultural journeys, ensuring our work is respectful, personal, and culturally aware.
If you’re looking for a role where your work truly matters, where you can embrace culture, create meaningful moments, and empower others every day — Indidg Connect is the place for you.

Being a Support Worker at Indidg Connect — means supporting participants to thrive, embrace culture, and make a lasting positive difference in yours and their life.

Respite
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide culturally safe, empowering respite for participants, helping them enjoy activities they love while building confidence, independence, and life skills.

Respite isn’t just a break for carers — it’s an opportunity for participants to thrive, connect, and celebrate achievements in a safe and supportive environment. From community events and creative activities to bush experiences and social outings, every moment is meaningful.

If you want a role where you can support growth, embrace culture, and make a real impact, Indidg Connect is the place for you.
